Meet The Red Hot Louisiana Band:

• It All Started At Antone’s. Raised in Port Arthur, Texas, C.J played his “first gig … for the opening of the now world-renowned Antone’s, Home of the Blues Nightclub in Austin, Texas.”
• “Creole music royalty”. C.J. began his career with his father, “the legendary Clifton Chenier, [who] invented the Zydeco style of music … and was the first Creole musician to be recognized with a Grammy Award.” When his father died, C.J. adopted his father’s Red Hot Louisiana Band and went back on the road. C.J. has now shared the stage with iconic artists across genres, from The Gin Blossoms, to Ray Parker, Jr., to Jimmie Vaughan, to Paul Simon and has appeared on the Daily Show, CNN and VH1.
