Get an intimate seat as two world-class virtuosos share the stage. Join us May 28th for an exclusive kappo-style omakase supper club with Michelin-recognized chef Michael Carranza of Tare.
Tare blends Japanese tradition with South Texas and Mexican roots. Chef Michael Carranza, whose culinary journey started while fishing with his grandmother in small-town Texas, led him to exemplary sushi kitchens like Musashino and Uchi, where he was head sushi chef.
As the evening unfolds, award-winning violinist Dr. Risa Ando—a globally acclaimed musician who performed for Japanese royalty at age 8, shared the stage with DJ Kygo at Austin City Limits, and is a tenured member of the Austin Opera orchestra—will perform live.
She will be joined by renowned cellist Amy Levine-Tsang, a former Princeton University faculty member and founding member of the award-winning Laurel Trio. The trio has earned acclaim for its “lucid, glistening tonal brilliance, severely calibrated dynamics, and elegant phrasing” (New York Concert Review), with their spirited chemistry described as “an artistic unity of rare vision” (Greenwich Times).

Sip, Savor, & Sound: An Evening with Fine Tequila and Carrie Rodriguez (SOLD OUT)
Join us May 17th for an unforgettable evening of culture, cuisine, and world-class music.
Guests will begin the evening with a tasting progression of Mexico’s finest agave spirits, designed to showcase the full spectrum of flavor—from crisp, citrus-forward Blancos and smooth, oak-aged Reposados to rich, woody Añejos and silky, dessert-worthy Extra Añejos.
Each spirit will be paired with a carefully curated selection of bites, including fresh oysters, smoked brisket, aged Manchego, and dark chocolate truffles, complemented by palate cleansers to elevate the tasting experience. For added fun, guests can test their senses with Agave Ace, an interactive tequila-tasting game designed to engage and delight.
To ensure everyone can enjoy the experience responsibly, we strongly encourage guests to use ride share as we transition to the historic Paramount Theatre, where award-winning Latine violinist and singer-songwriter Carrie Rodriguez will headline the evening with her acclaimed Laboratorio series. Reserved mezzanine seating offers a shared, elevated view of the performance, followed by an exclusive post-show meet-and-greet with the artist.
Carrie Rodriguez’s work has been featured by NPR, Rolling Stone, and Austin City Limits, and she was recently nominated for a Drama Desk Award for her celebrated off-Broadway musical, ¡Americano!.
Tickets are $100 and include the full experience: the luxury tasting, gourmet pairings, premium concert admission, and a private artist reception.
